While some NoSQL databases do not have the transactional capabilities for real-time data, that is not true with MarkLogic. In this session, Mike Bowers, Principal Architect at the LDS Church, discusses how his organization is increasingly using MarkLogic as a real-time data hub. MarkLogic works with operational data including JSON data from applications, relational data from Data Warehouses, regulatory data, cached data from multiple cloud regions, and more—all using an industry standard REST API. The end result is increased data availability and bringing data closer to the customer.
