Public Sector CTO Chris Biow on Big Data Solutions Showcase Agenda

SAN CARLOS, Calif. — March 5, 2012 — MarkLogic Corporation, the company powering mission-critical Big Data Applications around the world, today announced that its Public Sector Chief Technology Officer, Chris Biow, will be a panelist at the 2nd annual Carahsoft Government Big Data Forum on Tuesday, March 6 in Washington D.C. Biow will describe MarkLogic capabilities to leverage the value of Big Data in government agencies, including lessons learned from MarkLogic clients, and he will discuss near and long-term Big Data trends in the public sector.

The “Big Data Solutions Showcase: Establishing the Infrastructure” panel is scheduled 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. (ET) at the Renaissance Hotel, 999 9th Street N.W., Washington, D.C. Other speakers at this one-day conference will include Gus Hunt, Chief Technology Officer of the Central Intelligence Agency; John Marshall, Chief Technology Officer of the Intelligence Directorate, Joint Staff/J2; and Bob Gourley, founder of CTOLabs.com and former Chief Information Officer of the Defense Intelligence Agency, who will moderate the event.
