MarkLogic Principal Technologist Fernando Mesa to Speak on Packaging Content into Interactive Applications

Mesa’s first session, “Migrating from Content to Applications: The Next Step in the Evolution of Content Delivery,” will examine the emerging trend of repurposing and packaging content into interactive applications, APIs and Services to increase the exposure of a company’s existing content assets. During this presentation, Mesa will explain how to make inflexible content more valuable and engaging by converting it to digital and then exposing it in various forms on the internet. The session will be held on Tuesday, March 22, at 2:40 p.m. (ET).

The following day, Mesa will be part of a panel titled, “What Do I Get Out of BI?: The Role of Business Intelligence in Your Content Strategy.” Mesa will explain MarkLogic’s latest tools and technologies designed to deal with unstructured information including semantic technology and how to unlock valuable, hidden information that can change the way you view your business, market, and direction for growth. The panel will give tips on what to look for when choosing a BI system with capabilities for unstructured information. To aid in that choice, all attendees will receive a template of BI features and functions to use in RFIs, as well as the TEC 2011 Business Intelligence Buyer’s Guide. The panel will take place on Wednesday, March 23, at 3:30 p.m. (ET).
