SAN CARLOS, Calif. – March 13, 2008 – MarkLogic Corporation, a leading provider of infrastructure software for information applications, today announced the appointment of David Ponzini as senior vice president of corporate and business development.
Dave brings over 20 years of high-tech experience to MarkLogic, having worked at leading companies including Sun Microsystems, PeopleSoft, and Inktomi. Prior to MarkLogic, Dave was vice president of corporate and business development at AlarmPoint Systems, a provider of event notification products and on-demand services. Prior to AlarmPoint, Dave was vice president of corporate and business development at Verity, a leading provider of enterprise search engines.
