SAN CARLOS, Calif. — Sept. 14, 2010 — MarkLogic Corporation, the company revolutionizing the way organizations leverage unstructured information, and Flatirons Solutions, a systems integrator recognized for applying leading edge content technology to address critical business issues, today announced that Flatirons has been named the first North American reseller for MarkLogic’s award winning database. The agreement signals a move by MarkLogic to enlist trusted reseller partners as part of its aggressive growth strategy.

“Flatirons Solutions is a natural choice for inaugurating a reseller model in North America,” said Mark Tice, executive vice president, worldwide sales, MarkLogic. “Flatirons Solutions has been a trusted services partner since our company’s inception, and has implemented MarkLogic in some of the most demanding customer environments.”

The firm has also been at the vanguard of efforts to leverage XML server technology and to facilitate the dynamic assembly of content in commercial publishing environments.

“This agreement is the latest chapter in what has been a very close partnership between our two organizations,” said Danny O’Neill, vice president of corporate marketing and content technology sales, Flatirons. “Our sales team is thrilled to have this validation from one of our closest technology partners, and we look forward to applying the additional resources that this partnership brings to solving our customer’s toughest content challenges.”
