The agreement establishes MarkLogic as the primary database for De Gruyter, and will enable library, corporate, and individual customers to search and leverage the millions of pieces of content that currently lives within the walls of the De Gruyter publishing house.

“The publishing industry today is in a state of flux as more and more of our customers make the shift from print to electronic media,” said Dr. Sven Fund, managing director, De Gruyter. “We are stepping into the future of publishing with MarkLogic by our side, and we couldn’t be more confident of our choice.
