MarkLogic Partner Awards 2014

We value the unique contributions of each of our partners and are honored to have solid relationships with such highly regarded and trusted companies. For the 2014 MarkLogic Partner Awards, we selected five partner organizations that have proven second to none in their ability to deploy successful and innovative solutions with MarkLogic.

MarkLogic and Tableau announced their partnership in 2012 and since then have been delivering world-class analytics and visualization over structured and unstructured data. As a result, business users are able to harness the power of Tableau’s award-winning business intelligence and reporting solutions to access disparate data sets of structured and unstructured data stored in a MarkLogic database. More recently, MarkLogic and Tableau announced that Tableau now offers a native, optimized and fully-supported MarkLogic connector that is based upon Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) and supports both live connections and extracts. Tableau received an award this year because it has embraced MarkLogic as the NoSQL database platform that enables its customers to visualize their heterogeneous data.

As one of MarkLogic’s service partners, Cognizant is embracing the MarkLogic enterprise NoSQL Database as a platform for building industry solutions targeting specific business problems. Cognizant is a leading global system integrator that has differentiated itself as a visionary in the technology space.

At MarkLogic World this year, KPMG profiled how its Client OnBoarding solution, built on MarkLogic, enabled KPMG to use “big data” techniques to deliver transformational operating efficiencies and improvements. KPMG views this solution as a unique and differentiated value proposition for their clients, and is extensible to solve additional regulatory compliances challenges.

As a MarkLogic technology partner, Smartlogic provides Semaphore, a content intelligence platform that complements an organization’s investments in enterprise search, business intelligence and content management. Semaphore enables the rapid development of ontologies and performs semantic analysis to describe and extract information from content of all types and sources. Comprehensive and accurate resource descriptors are created – feeding MarkLogic’s native semantic and search capabilities. The combination of MarkLogic and Smartlogic gives organizations the best of real-time analytics with the content intelligence to surface facts and insights from heterogeneous data.
