How to Share and Integrate Silos Trusted Data from PLM and ERP
Alstom has developed a solution called Part 360 using MarkLogic. Part 360 enables to consolidate sources in automating the matching of the parts coming from different sources and associates information like life cycle, financial, warehouse position, usage. Part 360 enables to search a part no matter of their reference name in the source system.
The solution benefits are:
- To identify the part in the single point of truth of the platform
- To ease the information access on the part
- To rationalize the part
The system manages data indexes from more than 10 operational sources systems and legacy (PLMs, ERPs, Catalog, etc.) with 80 Millions records building 8 millions of truth point.
