Introduction to MarkLogic Server

An intensive one-week course that covers the following areas:

• Overview of MarkLogic Server
• Installation and administration of MarkLogic Server
• Introduction to the XQuery language
• Application development using MarkLogic Server
• Optimization and other advanced topics

The course is conducted in the hands-on learning environment in our San Carlos, California headquarters. Our course philosophy is to accelerate learning through extensive lab exercises. The learning environment provides each student with a dedicated high-performance workstation for completing exercises while sharing learning experiences with fellow students.

Upon completion of the course, each student will be proficient in administering, operating and developing applications using MarkLogic Server.

Prerequisites

Students must be familiar with XML and Java. No prior knowledge of XQuery is required.
