MarkLogic 5 is an operational database technology which is replacing RDBMSs as the standard to build Big Data Applications.
Organizations shouldn’t struggle to manage and leverage Big Data. Application Builder
Application Builder enables organizations to rapidly build information applications using a browser-based GUI for users to easily search and discover unstructured information stored within MarkLogic 5.
Information Studio
Information Studio simplifies loading and optimizing unstructured information to be stored in MarkLogic 5. Customers are literally able to “drag and drop” files and load as is.
MarkLogic Connector for Hadoop
The MarkLogic Connector for Hadoop lets you combine brute force batch processing with MarkLogic’s capabilities for ad hoc, real-time analytics. With Hadoop, you run your specialized, low level batch processing on raw data, and the Connector for Hadoop brings in MarkLogic to let you run new, previously unanticipated queries on an ongoing basis.
Productivity Tools
Users prefer to leverage information using familiar applications. Therefore, MarkLogic has created toolkits for Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and a connector for SharePoint, that enable users to leverage and interact with information within MarkLogic 5 from within these applications.
