SAN CARLOS, Calif. — February 9, 2010 — MarkLogic® Corporation, a leading provider of information infrastructure software, today announced that it hosted Congresswoman Jackie Speier, from California's 12th Congressional District, yesterday at its corporate headquarters.

Congresswoman Speier met with MarkLogic to learn firsthand how the company's technology enables government agencies to build and deploy applications that are redefining how information is managed, analyzed, and shared. Congresswoman Speier was first elected in April of 2008 after 18 years in the California Legislature, where she authored more than 300 bills that were signed into law by both Democratic and Republican governors.
