Utilizing a rigorous judging and selection process, the KMWorld Promise and Reality awards honor companies that are tangibly providing customers with innovative technology solutions. Selected finalists are also helping customers implement and integrate knowledge management practices into their business processes.

According to Hugh McKellar, editor in chief, KMWorld magazine, “MarkLogic was chosen because it shows great potential to move beyond simply delivering technology to working with clients to ensure that both the technology and the knowledge processes exemplify a clear, innovative vision.”

Earlier this year, MarkLogic celebrated its fifth year of recognition in KMWorld magazine's 2009 “100 Companies that Matter in Knowledge Management” for its commitment to providing organizations with innovative solutions that demonstrate agility combined with a full understanding of the forces that affect, and will affect, their customers.

“We are pleased to see that the company's strong momentum is matched by continued recognition from thought-leaders in the industry,” said Tracy Eiler, vice president of marketing, MarkLogic Corporation. “These accolades are a testament to MarkLogic's ability to deliver on our promise to customers. We provide them with an infrastructure that goes beyond conventional database and search technologies to meet the broader requirements of next-generation information applications.”
