MarkLogic has been awarded two patents on core technology in MarkLogic Server.

US Patent number 7,171,404, titled “Parent-Child Query Indexing for XML Databases,” protects key algorithms enabling MarkLogic’s revolutionary approach to indexing and high-performance query evaluation against general XML documents.

US Patent number 7,127, 469, titled “XML Database Mixed Structural-Textual Classification System,” protects MarkLogic’s unique technology for XML classification.
