Vice President, Human Resources
Deborah Blackburn is the vice president of human resources at MarkLogic. Blackburn is committed to human resources as a strategic function within an organization to increase its overall effectiveness and drive employee excellence.
Prior to MarkLogic, Blackburn held several senior leadership roles at Autodesk. She led all aspects of human resources for global sales, operations and product support, and was central to strategic human resource projects across the company. Blackburn worked closely with executive staff to facilitate strategic planning, as well as to research and revise organizational and operational policies. Before Autodesk, Blackburn worked at Sun Microsystems as a human resources manager. Blackburn is also active in the community. She is currently a board member for the Mountain View-Los Altos high school foundation, has held several PTA co-president roles, and chaired multiple volunteer efforts for several California school districts.
Blackburn graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law, holding a Juris Doctor, and also has a bachelor’s degree from Assumption College. She is a member of the California State Bar.
