Senior Vice President, Corporate Development
David Ponzini is the senior vice president of corporate development at MarkLogic. Dave brings over 25 years of sales, finance, and corporate development experience to MarkLogic. Prior to MarkLogic, Dave served as vice president of corporate and business development at Verity where he was responsible for the acquisition and integration of four companies eventually leading to the sale of the company to Autonomy in 2005. Dave has held a number of financial management positions at leading Silicon Valley companies including Inktomi, Sun Microsystems, PeopleSoft, and Vanstar. While at Vanstar he was part of the team that grew sales from $200M to $1.8B and was key to taking the company public in 1996. Dave holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from San Jose State University and master’s degree in business administration from Saint Mary’s College.
